TimeTune has a new website address! 🎉
Now you can find us on timetune.app
The previous address (timetune.center) will be redirected to the new domain, so you don’t have to worry about visiting old links 🙌
WHY THIS CHANGE?
When we first published TimeTune a few years ago, we could not purchase the ‘timetune.com’ domain because it belonged (and still belongs) to one of those companies who buys addresses in bulk to sell them later at expensive prices 🤑
And as the .app domain didn’t exist yet, we finally opted for ‘timetune.center’. It was not ideal, but at least it expressed the notion of the website being the information ‘center’ for the app.
But when Google opened the .app domain to the general public last year, we saw a golden opportunity. We purchased timetune.app and we were happy as a clam! 😀
Besides, .app domains are HTTPS-only, meaning that they are more secure both for companies and users 🔒
The new address is short, sweet and direct. And now we even like it more than the one ending in .com!
NEW HOSTING PROVIDER
Apart from that, our hosting plan was expiring this month and we weren’t happy with our hosting provider either. So we took the opportunity to do two things at the same time: migrating to a new provider and changing the website address.
After researching a lot, we decided to host our website on SiteGround. They have very good reviews and their prices are reasonable. They even have a service to migrate your WordPress site from your previous provider for you!
And indeed, the team from SiteGround migrated our website and changed the address in a flash. We just had to adjust a few things in WordPress and voilà! The new website was up and running.
The support team from SiteGround was very helpful and kind (while in other providers support is basically non-existent). We totally recommend it 👍
OUR CURRENT SETUP
After making this change (and after migrating our help pages last month) TimeTune uses the following domains:
- timetune.app for the main website (homepage and blog).
- timetune.help for the help pages.
As the project grows, we’ll keep polishing more things like this. The idea is to progressively adopt better platforms and to offer you a better service in general.
And timetune.app really fits into that.
We hope you like the new address as much as we do 😍
Cheers!

Hi.
I have 2 questions.
1. What brand of smart devices does TT work well with? I’m ok with a smart watch or a fitness tracker.
I need to have my TT notifications but I don’t want to have to be carrying my phone with me.
2. Is there a way to use TT on a PC?
It seems strange to use TT app on my phone but then I have to put some of the same reminders in on my PC.
Thanks
Petrina
Hi Petrina! 👋 About your questions:
1. While we don’t have official support for smart devices yet, most smart devices include an option to mirror any notification from your phone. We recommend checking out if the device (or devices) you are interested in include this option.
2. For the moment we don’t have a PC version. We’re open to that possibility for the future, but the project needs to grow more before we can justify the investment 📈
Hi. Thanks for the quick reply.
For 1. I found what looked like a good device except then I found it won’t sync with Samsung. More research needed.
For 2. That is disappointing. I love this app but I need to have reminders on my PC for study and forcmy daily organisation for days I’m not at uni.
Having to have multiple programs – TT on my phone and something that doesn’t match TT on my PC – becomes onerous. And as the uni progresses I use TT less and less – which is disappointing.
I have ADHD so I’m wanting the best planner. TT’s time blocking is great.
It might be worth exploring the world I’d ADHD because people are constantly looking for good organisational tools.
I hope PC does become an option, even if it is a lite version.
Thanks
